We are 100% volunteer driven and rely on donations, fundraising and grants to pay for building expenses and maintenance, office supplies, and items to support our organization.

Between job loss, medical bills, deployment, debt, and a host of other reasons, we often have clients who are struggling to be able to afford a special celebration.  It is our mission to help educate and find affordable resources to alleviate some of this burden. Donations allow us to reduce our service fees to a fraction of the cost of other rental companies and formal clothing stores.

Our Dressed in Love Program gives donors the opportunity to make dreams come true. These funds are awarded to individuals at our discretion based upon their request for services. These funds may be used in instances such as: assisting a student in finding a dress for their school dance, helping a bride afford her wedding gown, or helping a parent find items for their child’s graduation party.

By donating, it allows us to supply services at budget friendly prices. Any gift, big or small, is greatly appreciated.

Ways to Donate

• Donate online: Donate by clicking here
• Donate by check: Make check payable to “From This Day Forward” and mail to 14625 Lima Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46818
• Donate Clothing and Accessories: We accept any kind of new or gently used formal wear, shoes, jewelry, accessories, décor and more. Donations can be placed in our donation box or dropped off any time during regular hours. Please let us know if you would like a tax receipt.

Christmas stop and shop

We accept donations all year round for the very popular Christmas Stop and Shop event. Your donations are will make our community shoppers excited to shop for the holidays!

Kroger Community Rewards

Do you shop at Kroger? Take a few moments to sign up for the Community Rewards Program and choose From This Day Forward from the list of registered charities. As you shop, a portion of your purchases will be donated back to us! Shop for a cause!

Walmart Community Program

Walmart Rewards Program: Are you a Walmart online shopper? Take a brief moment to click “giving & impact” from the side menu of Walmart.com (must be logged in) and register your online account for the Spark Good program! Be sure to choose From This Day Forward from the list of eligible charities. You will then have the option to round up your total bill to the next dollar and have the change be donated back to us!

Have us speak at your event

Participate in our Fundraisers and Special Events!

Ok, this may require just a little bit more of your time but your presence at our events and participation in our fundraisers is what makes it a success! It’s because of the generosity of donors and participants that we are able to raise funds to continue assisting individuals with their special event. Our service fees alone do not cover our expenses. If we depended on them alone, then we would have to charge what the other large companies charge, which means many clients would not be able to afford our services!
