Amidst COVID FTDF and Sherry Myers from Well Grounded Cafe determined the need for a safe, outdoor, community event. Wanting to bring awareness to the Huntertown Family Park and to raise funds for FTDF, the idea of an outdoor treat trail in conjunction with a haunted trail began to take shape. A few outstanding volunteers jumped on board and thus, in October of 2020, Halloween At the Park was born.

Forest of Fear

The Forest of Fear brings awareness to the trails at the Huntertown Family Park. Thanks to some incredibly generous volunteers, we are able to host a spooktacular experience that also raises funds for our mission. In 2024 we were able to raise just over $5,000 for our mission! Tickets are a $5 suggested donation per person. Parental discretion is advised.
